As Manager of Multimedia Development, leading a team of 10 Multimedia Developers, I was responsible for applying multimedia formats such as RealMedia, Windows Media and Quicktime to proprietary and 3rd party (Digital Island, RBN, Data Return etc…) distribution channels.

I overlooked the day-to-day operations of the entire team as well as keeping everyone trained and updated on the latest break throughs regarding streaming technology.

I evaluated various elements of the multimedia streaming technology, including encoding, indexing, digital rights management, digital asset management, quality control and content delivery. I also was responsible for debugging complex issues inherent in a real-time communications environment.

My duties included research and development of new technologies regarding the use of Streaming Media, using SMIL technology and the very latest CODEC's to offer our syndicated clients a compelling, rich media experience.
