Manager of Multimedia Development: leading and training a team of
10 Multimedia Developers responsible for applying multimedia formats
such as RealMedia, Windows Media and Quicktime to proprietary and
3rd party (Digital Island, RBN, Data Return etc…) distribution channels.
Evaluate various elements of the multimedia streaming technology,
including encoding, indexing, digital rights management, digital
asset management, quality control and content delivery. Debugging
complex issues inherent in a real-time communications environment.
Personally
responsible for research and development of new technologies regarding
the use of Streaming Media on both Websites, using SMIL technology
and the very latest CODEC’s to offer our syndicated clients a compelling,
rich media experience.
Tools
used for Web Design and HTML:
Used PhotoShop and Fireworks for creation of graphics.
Coded the site using FrontPage.
Tools
used for Streaming Media Creation:
Used Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro to capture and digitize video.
Used Media Cleaner to encode the Streaming Video.
Coded video with SMIL to make one video play seamlessly after another
making it look like several little videos were one continuous video.

Web Development team member: incorporated design team ideas into
working web sites focusing on the aesthetically pleasing as well
as functional, created images for the web, responsible for all html
programming with FrontPage, creating Website diagrams using Visio.
Past projects have included: the creation and implementation of
Brinker Internationals web site, which includes "On The Border",
"Chili's", "Maggiano's" and "Romano's Macaroni Grill". Programming
forms and asp pages on those sites using Visual Interdev.
Acted
as Technical Liaison between Telephony magazine and McMann & Tate.
This consisted of documenting, tracking and placing all advertisements
for their web site in addition to creating and maintaining an ad
management database for the tracking of Telephony's ad banners working
closely with their Sales Representatives and clients to insure satisfaction
and quality.
Other
duties included: weekly updates to web sites, stripping multiple
Quark documents for each issue, converting them into html pages
and placing them on the site. This included converting any EPS images
into Gif's. I was also a Microsoft FrontPage consultant to Brigham
Hill Consultancy. Helping them maintain and update their web site.
Tools
used:
Used Visio to build site diagrams.
Used FrontPage to code websites.
Built and updated ASP forms using Visual Interdev.
Used PhotoShop and Illustrator to build graphics.
Stripped text out of Quark files using Extensis.
