Yes, I'm still alive, just frantically trying to keep up with the world around me. I've been working 35-40 + hours a week and going to classes 12 hours a week which by the time you add in all of the home work leaves very little time for fun stuff. It's all worth it though. I'm working on a few things now that will make more since later on when I can talk more about them.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe July 4th weekend. I took a few days off to spend some much needed time with family and friends. It's back to the old grind stone again tomorrow.

I saw a T-shirt yesterday that I thought was very fitting for this holiday weekend. The quote on the back read, "Those who fight for freedom know a flavor that the protected will never know." It took me a few seconds to really let that quote sink in. I think what it was meaning was that those of us who have never had to serve our country to defend the rights that we enjoy can never fully appreciate or understand the sacrifices that these people have given. It's a gift to each and everyone of us. No matter what your political view you can and should appreciate the soldiers, marines, sailors and air men of the past, present and future for their tremendous sacrifice and selflessness.
