Gianni's "sickness" has turned into an inner ear infection. He finally went to the Doctor yesterday and it was none too soon. The Doc told him that he was about 3 days away from rupturing his ear drums, plural as in both ears. Hmmm, let me see popped ear drum equal pain, possible loss of hearing at least to some extent, no more scuba diving and I'm sure a ton of other things I have not even thought of yet. I was shocked and relieved at the same time when he gave me the news. They started him on medication to clear up the infection, but it scares me to think what next Monday might have been like if he had not gone to the Doctor yesterday. I'm grateful he finally decided to go get some medical help.

Gianni was sick on the couch all weekend so I decided to go shopping. I'm such a sensitive understanding wife aren't I? ;-) Anyway, Gianni's Mom came over and we spent a good part of Saturday shopping. I needed it!!! I hadn't spent any money on myself for a few months and as Gianni likes to put it, "You need to go do that every once in a while". Saturday was apparently shoe day. I brought home 4 pairs of shoes. The first 2 pair were both under $10, the remaining 2 were about $30 a pair. I got some really comfy brown leather sandals, a pair of sexy, black, strappy sandals and 2 different pairs of funky looking black loafers. Gianni's parents bought me a new Birthday Suit, literally!! I was looking for a professional looking black pin stripe pant suite and found one at Stein mart. Gianni's mom said that it would be my Birthday present from "the two of them". Get it, suit...Birthday? Never mind, it wasn't really that funny.

WHOA!!! I just got an e-mail from a friend that I have not seen in 15 years. She was my best friend in 10th and 11th grade back in California. Needless to say I'm floored. Makes me wonder how she put 2 and 2 together. I'm married and live in a in a completely different state than I did when I left CA. The web is amazing.

I'm still alive, just feeling a little defeated. Not sure how much longer I can play nice.

I've been away from my personal computer quite a bit as of late. Not done much surfing/reading either.

In my absence, Gianni has decided to change things up a bit. He did a great job and actually did the majority of the work by himself. I gave him a small push in the right direction here and there, but as usual, the idea was all his, I just helped give him the tools he needed to complete the project.
